- BBC Bitesize will bring daily content for primary and secondary school pupils, including games, quizzes and revision tools.
- Classroom Secrets are sharing free fun, interactive and practical home learning resources for school closures.
- TED-ed users will find free videos on a wide range of educational topics, with portals for students and educators.
- The British Council provide resources for English language learning for kids and teens.
- Teachwire are sharing free school resources and home learning for primary year groups.
- The School Run offer thousands of articles covering all aspects of primary education, all available for free and packed with ideas on how to support learning at home.
- Oxford Owl will be regularly posting new advice and activities to help children continue building the skills and knowledge they need during school closures.
- iReviews have collated 45 next generation learning tools that children will love.
Subject Specific
- Stem Learning are providing free resources for home learning and continuing in-school delivery to adapt to the changes brought by the widespread school closures.
- Pearson have shared free primary, secondary and revision online curriculum resources that are ready made to allocate to students.
- Mrs Mactivity have created thoughtful and high-quality learning resources and activities that match the National Curriculum objectives to help children make progress.
- National Geographic Kids offer many activities and quizzes for younger kids.
Live Delivery
- Khan Academy host daily live streams on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter for students, teachers and parents to navigate school closures.
- NFER's Flipped Learning Practitioner Guide outlines how to implement flipped learning using digital technology, such as video, to provide direct instruction on new concepts outside of the classroom.
- Twinkl opened its Home Learning Hub to support parents and teachers during school closures, with new set of activities to get involved with every day. Qualified Twinkl teachers will also provide book readings and live lessons.
Tailored to Pupils' Needs
- FutureLearn provides a platform with online courses that allow students to build professional skills and further expand their knowledge.
- Inclusive Teach have shared 150 sensory learning ideas and activities children can easily do at home.
- The National Literacy Trust have developed a comprehensive web portal for parents which provides, free reading and writing resources, audio books and videos, competition and reading challenges.
