Case Study: How loose furniture can help shape a school room

Case Study with Westcountry Group

Fitting out a stunning new STEAM block with loose furniture

Transforming a classroom doesn't have to mean a full re-fit or re-design. Westcountry Group, who are exhibiting at the Independent Schools Conference, sourced colourful, practical furniture for this new-build.

Westcountry Group were absolutely delighted when commissioned to provide the complete loose furniture package for the stunning new-build STEAM centre at Talbot Heath School.  This industry-leading facility demanded a huge range of interesting furniture all in colour co-ordinated layouts, so the team at Westcountry Group liaised with Talbot Heath’s Senior Leadership Team to attractively furnish the school's interior.

The end result is a sensational mix of furniture, with each area having its own character and story.  Elegant, mid-century furniture with gentle organic curves compliment the iconic signature pieces by European designers, creating a classy and tasteful interior.  Sharp and stylish designs in a variety of heights allow students to work in their preferred style and the different areas accommodate students varying needs for collaborative, dynamic or focused study.  Take a walk around this incredible space yourself with the virtual tour.

“I cannot thank you and your team enough for all your hard work.  The furniture looks fabulous.  A huge thank you for sourcing exactly what I wanted and helping to realise my vision.” - Angharad Holloway, Headmistress
